The Stirling House

A hotel simply cannot compare to the level of care and consideration you receive at a B&B. Built in 1880, The Stirling House (Sterling House) B&B combines traditional elegance with cutting-edge modern conveniences. It is the only seaside bed & breakfast in the Greenport Historic District.

Our concern is for your safety. For COVID safety, we adhere to the CDC recommendations as well as those made by the AHLA (American Hotel & Lodging Association). When visitors are not seated for meals, masks must be worn in the house’s common spaces. When meals are served indoors, each guest has their own space, and when meals are served outside, tables are set apart. Daily room refreshes have been put on hold, however we are still happy to give you new towels and any other supplies you require. If needed, there are disinfection wipes and hand sanitizers readily available in the home.
