Profile
Jedediah Hawkins Inn is an opulent boutique hotel on the North Fork of Long Island, known for its history, kind hospitality, and delectable food and wine. It is surrounded by 22 acres of aromatic gardens and fields. You should stroll through the gardens, enjoy a glass of local wine in the gazebo, and discover the North Fork’s nearby vineyards, farms, and beaches. A wedding or other special occasion would be spectacularly staged by the lovely property and old structures.
The fashionable Italianate style was used by Captain Jedediah Hawkins to construct his house in 1863, and it included elaborate architectural details and a belvedere. One of the best homes on the North Fork was that one. The home was salvaged from the wrecking ball and painstakingly renovated after falling into disrepair and becoming “haunted.” With a decorator show house, Jedediah Hawkins Inn, a charming fusion of historic and modern style, reopened. Our investment in the history and renewal of the community is validated by our acquisition of the New York State Historic Preservation Award.
